1. Network and communications
The first and foremost task was to create a network consisting of the Trusts and the Institutes. Enough data was not available. A core committee was formed to study and understand the requirements of the various Trusts and Institutes. Further, extensive and nationwide tours were undertaken by FJEI core committee members to collect some primary data and also to convince the Trusts to come into the fold of FJEI for mutual benefits.
A communication center was established at FJEI Head Office to maintain good communications with all the Trusts and the Institutes on a continuous basis.

2. National and State Conferences
Once the network started gaining shape and depth, it was necessary to chart out policies and programs for further action. For this purpose National Conference 2003 was held in March 2003 at Jalgaon and was attended by more than 1000 delegates. This gave a good direction to the activities of FJEI.
This was followed up with State level conferences large number of attendees.
As a follow up many projects and programs have now been initiated by developing the ideas and suggestions given during the conferences.
